I bought it because I had been looking for rings in a size 4 that I could wear as pinky rings. This one fit the bill and was quite inexpensive. The garnet is kind of orangish rather than blood red like the picture shows -- that's why this ring gets four stars instead of five. But for the price, I am not complaining. And size 4 rings seem to be rare.
