She completed courses in basic and specialized silver work over a period of two years. Hidalgo has worked in this field since she was very young, influenced by her father Fiol, an expert silversmith and a Novica featured artist. "The desire to make jewelry just springs up inside me," she says. "This is my way of life and I have always enjoyed it." Hidalgo expresses her desires and aspirations in each one of her designs.
