Not what I was expecting but still awesomeAugust 1, 2008 I am 100% serious(Groton, MA United States) First off let me just say the thimble itself, from a sewing standpoint, not only works perfectly but looks great too. The little pixie that came with the thimble wasn't what I thought it would be though. When I read pixie I guess I was assuming some kind of little Tinkerbell deal that would assist me with needle-threading etc. but this thing was more like a miniature goblin. I don't know if they package these things at the factory or recruit them later or what but this one doesn't know anything about sewing and drops an f-bomb about once every seven seconds. It was a little offputting at first and I was going to just return the whole thing but after a while we just forgot the sewing thing and now spend most our time eating french toast and watching The Complete Baywatch on Blu-Ray so it worked out in the end.
